How can I connect to the iQunet Server via Hamachi VPN?

In the “Hamachi – VPN” panel you can join an existing active VPN network. Open the “Hamachi – VPN” panel by clicking on the “VPN” symbol at the left.

Add the VPN network by clicking on the plus sign in the “Peer networks” section. For more information on how to create a Hamachi VPN network and how to adjust its settings, see the iQunet User Guide on our “Resources” page.

Enter the network ID and click the Join button.

Accept the iQunet Server as a member of the Hamachi network in the “Join Requests” section of the network.

Set the SERN-xxxxxxxxxxxx to act as a hub by clicking on “Add/Remove members”. Check the Hub box and press Save.

Please make sure that your computer is also connected to the same Hamachi network. Both your PC and the iQunet Server should be in the list of network members with the iQunet Server listed as a hub.

If your PC is not a network member yet, open the Logmein Hamachi software and select “Join an existing network”. Fill out the network ID and ask for membership permission. Accept your PC as a member in the “Join Requests” section.

Reselect the “Hamachi – VPN” control panel by clicking on the “VPN” symbol at the left on the iQunet Sensor Dashboard and the VPN network will appear in the list of peer networks. Remark: the list of peer networks is not updated automatically since Hamachi doesn’t provide any sign or warning when changes have been applied. For this reason, you need to reopen the “Hamachi -VPN” panel to update the list of peer networks.

You can now find the IP address of the VPN network in this control panel. Copy this IP address and replace the “xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx” in http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/dashboard/app with this address.
