Connectivity & accessories
Connect, power and mount your sensors. Find components for a new installation or match the model already in use.
Find the component for your measurement
Connect the equipment you already use
Keep suitable sensors and instruments in place. Connect their supported outputs to the M4 so the measurements can be viewed, recorded and used by plant software.
Read a supported device through its master
Physical connection concept
A supported IO-Link sensor connects to a compatible, configured master. The M4 reads the supported Modbus mapping from that master.
One implemented combination is a supported Pepperl+Fuchs VIM3 vibration sensor with an ICE11 master. Confirm the exact sensor model, master configuration and available measurements.
Turn a 4–20 mA signal into a recorded value
Physical connection concept
A compatible radio input reads the transmitter’s signal. Configure the measurement range and scaling so the received value represents pressure, level or another engineering quantity.
Match the input characteristics, transmitter loop power and supported device payload. A radio input does not automatically power every connected instrument.
Send the instrument model and output type. We’ll identify the required interface and the values it can expose.
Connect existing equipmentWireless network components

Bring wired sensors into the wireless system
The Wireless Sensor Bridge holds up to three AD modules. Connect an IEPE accelerometer or current clamp to its matching module, then transfer recordings over iQunet radio.
Each module has its own acquisition clock.
Selection & installation notes
PAN Coordinator
The current wireless network coordinator supports iQunet wireless sensors and LoRaWAN sensors. Select the radio version and gateway configuration for the installation.
The original USB Base Station has been superseded. The radio networks and supported device types must match the selected hardware.
Wireless Sensor Bridge
Digitize up to three analog measurement channels and send them into the iQunet wireless network. Fit the appropriate AD module for each IEPE accelerometer, iQunet current clamp or supported 0–10 V sensor.
Modules and sensors are separate. Each module records independently; inputs can be mixed or left unused. The bridge also repeats iQunet wireless traffic, not LoRaWAN.
USB-powered repeater
Extend coverage for compatible iQunet wireless sensors. Each repeater connects directly to the network coordinator; the documented network supports one repeater between a sensor and its coordinator.
Micro-USB power, with coin-cell backup for short supply interruptions. Wall or cabinet mounting with clips. Check both radio links at the installation point.
USB-powered actuator
Combines the repeater role with a 24 V switching output that responds to compatible sensor alarm broadcasts. It can provide a signal to a PLC or warning indicator.
Confirm the sensor, output and control-system requirements for the installation. This description does not establish a certified safety function.
Cellular wireless access point
Provide network access for the iQunet server through a cellular modem when a suitable wired connection is unavailable. The documented model also has Ethernet and local Wi-Fi.
The ACCS633010 model uses passive PoE. Select its power arrangement, SIM and supported LTE bands for the location; carrier coverage and service terms are separate from sensor connectivity.
USB Base Station for existing systems
The IBAS169110-USB-ETH Base Station is an end-of-life component retained for replacement in existing systems. New projects use the PAN Coordinator.
It communicates with the original iQunet sensor network, not LoRaWAN sensors. Keep its original installation and cable information for supported existing installations.

Signal and power cables
Selection & installation notes
M8 sensor power cables
Power the cable-powered vibration sensor with a molded right-angle M8 cable. The opposite end is open for the appropriate power connection.
Documented lengths: 5 m and 10 m. These are sensor power cables, not IEPE signal cables.
IEPE sensor cables
Shielded cables with a two-pin MIL connector connect an IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer to the Wireless Sensor Bridge and its IEPE acquisition module.
Documented lengths: 5 m, 10 m and 15 m. The bridge end is supplied blunt-cut for its terminals.
Current-clamp cables
Shielded cables with the iQunet current-clamp connector link the clamp to the Wireless Sensor Bridge and its matching current acquisition module.
Documented lengths: 5 m, 10 m and 15 m. Select the clamp-specific connector; a two-pin label alone does not establish interchangeability.
Remote Base Station USB cable
The shielded 5 m micro-USB cable allows an original Base Station to be positioned away from its server for better radio placement.
The source also pairs it with the IP67 Base Station box. It is an accessory for the original Base Station installation.

Earlier server power
Match the connector and input voltage to your GEN3, GEN4 or earlier industrial server. The M4 has its own package and power options.
M4 package optionsSelection & installation notes
24 V server supply
DIN-rail AC/DC power supply, ACCS615310-230V-24V1A, documented for the 24 V iQunet server.
Match the server model and load. A shared 24 V label does not by itself establish compatibility with every gateway or accessory.
24 V sensor and bridge supply
DIN-rail supply ACCS615410-230v-24V06A for the IVIB161410 cable-powered vibration sensor or BRID201010 Wireless Sensor Bridge.
This supply has a different current rating from the server supply. Calculate the connected load and use the correct installation document.
GEN3 supply, AC input
5.1 V DIN-rail supply with micro-USB B output for the documented GEN3 server.
ACCS615010-B230V-5V2A. This is a previous-generation server accessory.
GEN4 supply, AC input

Compatibility details
iQunet wireless and LoRaWAN
The original USB Base Station supports iQunet sensors only. The PAN Coordinator is the replacement for new projects using iQunet wireless and LoRaWAN. Match regional radio versions across the installation.
Wireless Sensor Bridge power
The documented bridge uses 24 V DC. Its 5.1 V micro-USB option is restricted to IEPE vibration or compatible current-clamp configurations. The internal backup coin cell supports diagnostic ping only; it does not keep the repeater operating.
Server generations
Older GEN3, GEN4 and FR201 accessories remain useful for identifying existing systems. They are not automatically M4 accessories. Check the model and supply before replacing hardware.
