Inclination sensor

Follow the orientation of your machinery

Measure the pitch and roll of machine components, rollers and suspended equipment. Set a roll-guard threshold to identify when the monitored angle is exceeded.

Start from a known mounting position

Align the sensor using the mounting guide so pitch and roll have a clear reference. Set the roll guard for the angle you want to identify.

Wireless measurements. Local history.

The sensor sends measurements to the M4 through a compatible iQunet radio interface. Review the history in your browser and connect the recorded values to your existing systems.

IVIB161210-INC-LPO details

Measurement
Pitch and roll: −90° to +90°; 1–255 samples per burst. Roll-guard setting: 15°–75°.
Power & housing
Two CR2032 cells; 57 × 47 × 14 mm, 35 g; −20°C to +70°C. IP65, or IP68 with the specified upgrade set.
Alarm output
The roll guard can broadcast an alarm to a separate iQunet actuator. This monitoring function is not specified as a safety-rated machine-stop system.
Orientation
Align the Z axis through the mounting hole with gravity for zero pitch and roll. Avoid placing the Y axis close to gravity, where pitch and roll cannot be measured; follow the mounting guide.

Connection & mounting

iQunet wireless network

Position measurements travel to an M4 with a compatible iQunet radio interface, directly or through an optional Repeater. Use the dashboard to follow measurements and adjust sensor settings.

Record pitch and roll in bursts and use the roll guard to detect a selected angle being exceeded. The optional actuator provides a separate alarm-output interface.
