iQunet Vibration & Temperature Sensor

The iQunet Vibration & Temperature Sensor is a compact, wireless, battery-powered device designed for continuous condition monitoring of rotating machinery. Ideal for predictive maintenance strategies, it enables early detection of bearing wear, misalignment, unbalance, and other mechanical faults.

 

The sensor integrates a 3-axis vibration sensor and a temperature sensor in a single enclosure. It captures high-resolution time series data at configurable intervals, with remote access to key parameters such as sampling rate, dynamic range, and measurement intervals for optimal adaptability.

 

Powered by two standard CR2032 coin cells (included), the sensor can operate for up to 2* years. A larger battery set for up to 10* years of operation is also available. Sensor data is transmitted wirelessly over sub-GHz frequencies—ensuring robust communication without interfering with plant WiFi networks—directly to the iQunet Edge IPC Server.

 

Sensor data is visualized through the iQunet Sensor Dashboard on the Edge IPC Server, offering:

  • Time series plots (acceleration in g, velocity in mm/s)
  • FFT spectrum and waterfall diagrams
  • Trend graphs (RMS, Kurtosis, AI-anomaly detection**)
  • Temperature trends
